Methodology: The study was conducted using a quantitative research method. We collected data from a sample of 500 football fans aged 18 and above who had placed a bet on a football match in the past year. We used a structured questionnaire consisting of 25 questions that covered various aspects of football betting, such as the frequency of betting, the amount of money spent, and the reasons for betting.
Results: Our findings revealed that 65% of the participants had bet on football matches in the past year. The majority of them (72%) bet on their favorite teams, while 28% bet on the teams they thought would win. The average amount of money spent on a single bet was $50, with 44% of the participants spending between $25 and $50 per bet.
